It has been a long time since I opened this project file and was pleasantly surprised to see the design above.
The second design is much more mundane than the first!

An old favourite project file which gets overlooked because there are so many new ones to play with.
Perhaps I should change the colour scheme so it becomes new again.

I like the first design with some busy areas, and some open spaces.
I like the second one too, and it is my favorite for today.

I am wondering if I would applique or piece the curves, and if applique, hand or machine.
I would hand applique the fine lines, so I guess I would do the same for the heavy ones.

For me this brings back memories of the day I started Virtual Quilter. A lot of virtual quilts have had their day in the spotlight since then!
The second one is different, but I like it, though the first one is my favourite.
read moreThe first design I shared as the Virtual Quilter was Wedding in Pompeii, and this is one of the project files which grew from that first one.
I think I add more designs than I share to the file every time I open it, and I already have enough to keep sharing them for a long time … and I just added some new block variations to the file as well.
I like all of today’s designs, but the middle one is my favourite.

Busy, busy , busy!
Not overly impressed by the border, but I like the rest of the design.
A little bit of blank space for the eyes to rest, and I like the busy parts of the second design.

Lots of space for quilting, and as there are no Wedding ring blocks amongst the applique, I would try to incorporate quilted Wedding Rings.
Quilted Wedding Rings would be a simple way of filling in the spaces reserved for quilting too.
